- Issued by the Government of Canada, this 2013 edition features portrait of Queen Elizabeth II aged 79 facing right. On the reverse features a maple leaf on a flat surface and micro-engraved maple leaf hologram. In the centre of this hologram is the numeral denoting the coin's year of issue, which is only visible under magnification. It is the first edition to introduce this hologram security feature.
